Chilliwack: Stolen property was recovered by police and a local man is charged following a RCMP investigation.
The investigation stemmed from a report received by RCMP on December 8, 2018 of a smash and grab theft from a vehicle parked in the 45000-block of Menholm Road. Evidence gathered by the Chilliwack Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) quickly linked the theft to a local prolific offender who police arrested on December 11, 2018. Property and identification associated to the theft from December 8th were seized by officers during the search.
