Seeking Poppy Box Thieves

The Chilliwack RCMP are investigating a number of reports of poppy donation boxes being stolen from local business.  Four such thefts were reported during the first week of November, 2018.

Surveillance video and photos have been obtained from each of these thefts, and the RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible.

November 4th in the 7500 block of Vedder Road.  The person who took the poppy donation box is described as a male with medium complexion wearing orange or red rain poncho.

 

November 6th in the 7300 block of Vedder Road.  The person who took the poppy box is described as wearing a Green jacket and dark pants.

November 6th in the 7600 block of Vedder Road.  The person who took the poppy box is described as a white male, wearing a black jacket and a black hat.

 

November 6th in the 45600 block of Luckakuck Way.  The person who took the poppy box is described as a white male, wearing a grey sweater, black pants, red hat and a dark coloured backpack.  Of note is that the suspect in this incident pushed the clerk who tried to stop him from exiting the business.
