Ten years ago, BC Registered Music Teacher, Debra Krol (aka Ms. Deb), had a dream.   It was a dream she thought would never really have a possibility of coming true, but now, after much hard work and dedication, that dream is becoming a reality!

Tiny Tinkles Music Studio will be officially opening in the Chilliwack Mall this September! A dedicated music studio where children and their caregiver (Mommies, Daddies, Nannies and Grannies are always welcome) come to “play” together each week, learning about the amazing world of music.  Enjoying special bonding time together, feeling the rhythm of the music, introducing early literacy and preschool readiness skills.

The studio offers a truly inspiring atmosphere complete with two purple pianos, drums, tambourines, egg shakers, cymbals, glockenspiels, rhythm sticks, maracas, scarves, parachutes, and too much more to mention.  The space features soft foam flooring for the little kidlets who have just begun to crawl and walk.

Ms. Deb’s most important goal when designing the studio was to create a warm and inviting, safe space where children’s imagination and creativity can be nurtured.  “I can’t wait for my littles to walk through the door for the first time and be excited to experience music in this brand new space!  And even more so, for their moms and dads to create special connection with their children they will cherish forever!”

Mirrors line the wall so while caregivers are dancing around to the music, they won’t miss even one beat of smiles, giggles and laughter from their children.  “These are precious times, children grow up so fast.  Attending a 45 minute class each week guarantees parents quality time with their children each week, where their focus is solely on their children.”

Music classes offer time for socialization for children and friendships between the families that attend classes together.  All of the classes at Tiny Tinkles Music Studio are parent participatory, which means a caregiver is always present.  This creates a confident atmosphere where children are encouraged to learn and parents are required to take part in each activity with enthusiasm.  “Children learn by example.  When parent model activities and music play, children will follow….  AND they will develop a positive sense of self confidence and a desire to learn and try new things.”

Ms. Deb has been teaching music to children for over 20 years.  She has a Diploma in Music and is a certified Music and Movement Instructor.  For the past 10 years, she has focused her business around preschool music education because she recognizes the value and benefits of preschool music education and its ability to help support early literacy.

Programs that are available at Tiny Tinkles Music Studio this September are The Learning Groove (co-created by the Author of the first four Pete the Cat Books, Eric Litwin, a music and movement class that focuses on literacy and music), Zumbini (created by Zumba and BabyFirst TV, another music and movement class that focuses on “feeling” the rhythm in music), and KiddyKeys (a music discovery class that introduces musical concepts through the piano).

Tiny tinkles Music Studio’s Grand Opening week will be celebrated September 4th through the 7th.  All classes are open to FREE registration that first week so families can come try them out, and see first hand what music and movement classes are all about.  To register, please visit and/or
