A simple math equation was to blame for the loss of the Mars Climate orbiter.
GAK – The Metric System was to blame

If you ate too many carrots, you would turn orange.
FACT – Carrots contain a significant amount of carotene, which is broken down by the liver into Vitamin A. An excess of carotene in the blood is deposited into the skin, causing an orange discoloration. Don got it wrong!!
