Chilliwack, B.C. - Chilliwack RCMP have been getting a few meth calls lately.  Recently the Duty NCO's have been getting calls from crystal methamphetamine users who are kind of freaking out.

Corporal Kurt Bosnell is in charge of the Drug Unit in Chilliwack.  He says it's hard to tell what it means.  “Personally I think it is a bit of a trend.  We just happen to be getting a lot of calls.  There’s definitely crystal meth in Chilliwack.  We’re seeing it on a regular basis here.”
He says with meth you get meth.  It isn't like heroin or ecstasy where suddenly one batch is more potent than others.  So he isn’t predicting a string of overdose deaths, however he adds only time will tell.

Corporal Bosnell says they try and talk to the addicts about what is going on, but they can't or don't always want to speak.  He says they tend to be pretty focused on their next hit, and very little else.

4 former AG's recommend Pot..stick to that.
I hope that the local popularity doesn't become a long term issue for people - meaning younger people becoming addicted.
