Isaac Gauer here, from G.W. Graham,
Graham is excited to start up football for the 2012/2013 season. For middle school students at Graham, there is a player Combine on March 3 from noon to four. This is for students who want to evaluate their skills as a player and to learn more about the sport. Registration is $15 and no gear like helmets or pads are required. For more info, please visit graham football.com.
The Senior Varsity Basketball teams at G.W. are both in the Fraser Valley playoffs. Both teams won their respected leagues and headed into the Fraser Valley Championships as top seeds in the tournament. This week, the Girls are off to Holy Cross while the boys continue their march to the provincials out at Arch Bishop Carney.
The Be-The-Change group at Graham is in the middle of a Well-building project for Kenya. The main event, Skate 4 Kenya, will be in early April with the specific date to be announced. Students will be collecting pledges for this endurance skate, with all of the money going to helping people in Kenya have better access to clean drinking water. I’ll have more information for you in the next few weeks.
From G.W. Graham, I'm Isaac.
